Email setup with MS Outlook Express
Detailed below are instructions on how to set up Microsoft Outlook Express
for use with your Gold Vision Communications / HERA.NET mail service.
Outlook Express supports multiple email accounts as well as news and advanced
directory services which can help you find who you are looking for.
1. Open Outlook Express and click on the "Tools" menu.
2. Select
"Accounts".
3. Click "Add"
then "Mail".

Set as below with your own information.

Click "Next" then Set as below with your own
information.

Click "Next" then Set as below with your own
information.

Click "Next" then Set as below with your own
information.

Click "Next" then Set as below with your own
information.

Click "Next" then Set as below with your own

11. Click "Finish" to save the information.
For spam protection we use a function called "POP before SMTP".
Whenever you log in for POP3 mail, the server notes the IP address from
which the connection was made, and permits SMTP from the IP for a limited
time. This simply means: first check for new mail before sending.
